Happy New Year everyone!!! Just kind of busy this days and I almost forgot to open my blog. But still, I find time to keep in touch with you. :)
I hope you had wonderful New Year’s celebrations! And I hope each and every one of you had created your New Year’s resolutions. Before 2009 ends, I’ve created my own. I really need this to have a positive 2010! And it’s a pleasure to share you my list:
1. I have to lose weight! Just weigh this morning and got a shocking 47 kilos!!! I’m 23 years old, height of 5’3” (not sure), and I think I’m kinda overweight! I have to lose at least 2 kilos and maintain a 45-kilo weight.
2. I NEED to have a toned tummy!! Sounds funny! But almost all women are craving for this. And I really want to have this before the end of 2010.
3. I have to organize my finances. This is my most important New Year’s resolution this 2010. Okay, are you also having difficulties with your finances? Well, maybe it’s also the time for you to organize it! Let me specify it one by one:
2010 FINANCIAL RESOLUTIONS
1. Cut your Debt. Decrease your spending habits. Before you buy anything, think ten times – do you need it or you just want it? If you decided it was the latter, then put it back and forget about it! Use your extra money wisely. If you come across unexpected money, such as gifts or refunds, use it wisely. Put it toward your outstanding debt.
2. Open savings account. You have to be prepared for a financial emergency. Savings account helps you avoid putting emergency expenses on your credit card and have to pay the interest charges. And it helps you control your urges to spend.
3. Build a budget. A budget will give you financial peace of mind. It’s really hard to save if you don’t know how to budget your money. Many people overestimate their purchasing power. They look at their total salary as the money available to spend. And after years of working, they will realize they don’t have any savings. So better start now and stop buying what you don’t need!
4. Investment. Once all financial aspects of your life are handled you can begin to think about establishing a plan for building your wealth through investing. Depending on where you are on the other items, don't feel bad if this goal gets put off until 2011. Take care of your debt first!
It is really not easy to keep and maintain a resolution. It requires constant looking after, conscious effort, and persistence. But you'll reap the rewards for years to come if you are able to stick with it! There’s never been a better time for new beginnings, a time to quit your old habit and change for the better! Good luck to us!!!
